The current meta in Call of Duty: Warzone 2 calls for long range weapons. Since Al Mazrah features such long sight lines, players are often at an advantage if they are holding a weapon that’s capable of dealing damage at far distances. While a submachine gun or pistol secondary is nice to have for close range gunfights, players will often find themselves using their primary long range gun more frequently. If players are looking for a strong weapon to be their primary, they should look at the HCR 56, which has a dominant loadout in Warzone 2.
The long range meta in Warzone 2 is currently made up of guns like the RPK, TAQ 56, and the Kastov 762. However, there are other weapons, like the HCR 56, that can easily replace those weapons if players want to switch things up every now and again. The HCR 56 has fantastic recoil control and damage range, making it a terrific choice for Al Mazrah.
However, if players want the LMG to compete with the likes of the RPK and Kastov, they’ll need its strongest set of attachments.
Best HCR 56 loadout in Warzone 2
The HCR 56’s loadout will primarily focus on improving recoil control, stability, and bullet velocity. Its damage range is already strong, and players will benefit more from increasing other stats.
- Muzzle: Sakin Tread-40
- Underbarrel: Commando Foregrip
- Optic: AIM OP-V4
- Ammunition: 5.56 High Velocity
- Rear Grip: STIP-40 Grip
The loadout begins with the Sakin Tread-40 muzzle and the Commando Foregrip. Both of these attachments offer a large boost to recoil control and stability. The STIP-40 Grip also increases overall recoil control as well. Wrapping up the loadout is the 5.56 High Velocity ammunition, which improves bullet velocity. Finally, there’s the AIM OP-V4 optic, the current meta pick for mid-long range gunfights.
