The weapon balancing portion of the Season 5 update in Call of Duty: Warzone saw several top-tier guns nerfed. The Armaguerra 43, which was far and away the most popular SMG in Season 4, was among the guns to receive a nerf. With this change, players were unsure of which SMG to replace the Armaguerra 43 with in Season 5. While guns like the PPSh-41 popped up instantly, others, such as the H4 Blixen, are also in the mix for a spot in the meta. The H4 Blixen didn’t see any major changes to its top loadout in Warzone, but there are a few attachment changes players should be aware of.

The H4 Blixen wasn’t buffed or nerfed in the Season 5 update. Instead, some of the SMG’s attachments were altered in different ways. Raven Software decided to nerf the Blixen’s most popular barrel by reducing its recoil control while also nerfing/buffing its most popular magazine. These changes haven’t made a huge impact on the SMG’s loadout, which means the H4 Blixen is still a viable option in Season 5.

The developers nerfed the Bergstrom 17″ F3 barrel’s recoil control and altered the 7.62 Gorenko 54 Round Mags in a variety of ways. These attachments are still prominently featured on the Blixen’s loadout; however, players should expect the gun to be a little more difficult to control, move slower, and kill slightly quicker when aiming for the upper body, but not the head.

Fans can see all of the changes to the H4 Blixen by looking at the Season 5 patch notes. They can also view the best loadout for the SMG below.

  • Muzzle: Recoil Booster
  • Barrel: Bergstrom 17″ F3
  • Optic: Slate Reflector
  • Stock: Bergstrom MB
  • Underbarrel: SG98 Compact
  • Magazine: 7.62 Gorenko 54 Round Mags
  • Ammo Type: Lengthened
  • Rear Grip: Taped Grip
  • Perk 1: Fleet
  • Perk 2: Quick

One of the most important attachments on this loadout is now the Taped Grip. Since movement speed was nerfed for the 7.62 Gorenko 54 Round Mags, the Taped Grip aims to get some of that back. While fans could opt for a recoil control attachment, the Taped Grip allows the Blixen to excel in close range. However, we have swapped out the Removed Stock for the Bergstrom MB to compensate for any lost recoil control.

It remains to be seen whether or not the H4 Blixen could replace the Armaguerra 43 in the Warzone Season 5 meta, but this loadout gives it the best chance.
