There are dozens of long-forgotten loadouts in Call of Duty: Warzone. Most of them originate from Modern Warfare and Black Ops Cold War, which were recently revealed to have the least-picked guns in the current version of Warzone. However, just because players don’t typically pick weapons from those games in Season 4 doesn’t mean those weapons aren’t viable. Take the FN SCAR 17, for example; it has tremendous damage range, almost no recoil, and a loadout of attachments that can truly excel in today’s Warzone.

While the FN SCAR 17 is a solid assault rifle in its own right, players could also use some of the battle royale’s older weapons to prepare for the upcoming Modern Warfare II. According to current leaks, the SCAR will apparently be in MWII. This means that come the end of this year, players might be using the SCAR again in Warzone. If they want to get a head start on everyone else, then players should try using the FN SCAR 17’s best loadout in Warzone Season 4.

Best FN SCAR 17 loadout in Warzone

As veterans of Warzone will know, the FN SCAR 17 doesn’t have too many glaring weaknesses. Although, it is slower than other ARs, so it’s best to use it at longer ranges to avoid being outmaneuvered by the current crop of Vanguard rifles.

  • Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
  • Barrel: FORGE TAC 20.0″ LB
  • Optic: VLK 3.0x Optic
  • Underbarrel: Commando Foregrip
  • Magazine: 30 Round Mags

This loadout mainly focuses on damage range and recoil control, which are two of the SCAR’s biggest strengths. With these attachments in place, players can replicate the older version of the FN SCAR 17 in the best way possible. Using this loadout helps make the AR viable in today’s game, but also gives players a great way to prepare for a possible SCAR appearance in MWII.
