The FJX Imperium is a replica of the Intervention from the original Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, and it has received a ton of attention since releasing in Season 3. While it’s not the best all-around sniper in the game, it absolutely packs a punch and can be a quickscoping threat with the right attachments. Luckily, I’m here to give you those attachments with the best FJX Imperium loadout in MW2.

If you’re looking for the ultimate long range sniper or a quickscoping monster, the FJX Imperium likely isn’t for you. It falls right in the middle of those two sniper qualities, meaning you can choose how to play when using the sniper. My loadout for the FJX Imperium balances out these two areas, giving you the ability to be a long range threat or an aggressive quickscoper.

To see the best loadout for the FJX Imperium in MW2, check out the guide below.

Best FJX Imperium loadout in MW2

  • Stock: FJX Lux-7
  • Bolt: FJX Blast
  • Rear Grip: Skull-40
  • Carry Handle: Field-Wrapped Handle
  • Ammunition: .408 Explosive

This loadout for the FJX Imperium in MW2 emphasizes speed and quickscoping over anything else. The FJX Lux-7 gives players extra speed and stability without any negative effects while the FJX Blast improves fire rate. The Skull-40 increases aim down sight speed and sprint-to-fire time, as does the Field-Wrapped Handle. This is extremely important for any quickscoping engagements you might find yourself in.

Finally, the .408 Explosive ammunition vastly improves damage, allowing you to get more one-shot kills with the FJX Imperium. This FJX Imperium loadout might not be the best sniper you can equip in multiplayer, but it’s certainly one that will bring back some classic memories for fans of the original Intervention.

As a final note, you can use the FJX Imperium in the new Modern Warfare 3 and use this same loadout to great effect. However, you will need to change most of the rest of the class, as the perks have been entirely changed in the new multiplayer title. You can still use the same lethal or tactical as well as a similar secondary weapon. Of course, I suggest using some of the new content first so you can experience some of the fresh items in MW3.
