If players are looking for a solid shotgun to use in Call of Duty: Warzone, they don’t have to go too far. Nearly all of the shotguns in the game are viable in some way, so players have their pick if they want to use one in their loadout. Of course, I recommend a shotgun only be used as a secondary weapon in a loadout that has Overkill equipped. For players who are planning to take this route, they should consider the Expedite 12 shotgun, which has a terrific loadout in Warzone.

In Modern Warfare 2, the Expedite 12 is arguably the best shotgun out of the six available choices. It has an extremely fast fire rate, solid damage range, and great mobility. It can kill enemies in a couple of shots at close range in Warzone, making it a decent secondary option for players who want to get up close and personal with their opposition. Those players will still want the Expedite 12’s strongest set of attachments to maximize its value.

Best Expedite 12 loadout in Warzone

The best Expedite 12 loadout uses damage range and mobility attachments. This makes the shotgun much more viable at close range while not decreasing its other pertinent stats.

  • Muzzle: Bryson Improved Choke
  • Barrel: 18.5″ Emperor Barrel
  • Underbarrel: Agent Grip
  • Stock: Resonance Stock Collapsed
  • Bolt: Expedite L-Bolt

The first two attachments, the Bryson Improved Choke and 18.5″ Emperor Barrel, increase damage range and widens the pellet spread, allowing players to be less accurate but still hit players. The Agent Grip boosts hip-fire accuracy while the Resonance Stock Collapsed boosts all other forms of mobility, giving players options as to how they approach a gunfight.

Finally, the Expedite L-Bolt boosts fire rate, allowing players to fire off more shots in less time. As I said before, I really only suggest going with a shotgun as a secondary or if you’re really planning to be aggressive in Warzone.
