Upon its release in the Season 5 update, the EX1 assault rifle has become the most unique weapon in all of Call of Duty: Warzone.

Fans who played Advanced Warfare back in 2014-15 will recognize the AR; it’s a replica of the EM1 from that game. Fans who remember the EM1 will know that instead of bullets, the rifle shot a laser beam. Even though Warzone is currently set in World War II, the EX1 has this same trait. While it might not be historically accurate, the EX1 has entered Warzone with a new gimmick and an enjoyable loadout.

Aside from being a literal laser, the EX1 has some of the widest-ranging attachments in the entire game. Players can truly customize how they want to play with this rifle. Whether it’s up close and personal or shooting enemies at range, the EX1 has the necessary attachments to excel in most situations. Of course, we have narrowed down the best attachments to use on the EX1 that will allow players to get the most out of the weapon.

To see the full loadout for the EX1 in Warzone Season 5, keep reading below.

Best EX1 loadout in Warzone

  • Muzzle: Coil Amp
  • Barrel: PWN Beam Condenser
  • Scope: SVT-40 PU Scope 3-6x
  • Stock: AC-Titanium Anchor
  • Underbarrel: Carver Foregrip
  • Rear Grip: Stippled Grip
  • Magazine: Quantum High Voltage Battery
  • Perk: Fleet
  • Perk2: Fully Loaded

If some of these attachments seem unfamiliar, you’re not alone. Most of the attachments that appear on the EX1 are exclusive to it and its laser-like capabilities. However, the only thing you need to know is that this loadout increases most of the pertinent stats for the EX1. Overall damage is boosted by using the Coil Amp while damage range is improved with the PWN Beam Condenser. This barrel does change the rifle to a semi-auto weapon, but it’s worth it for the added prowess at longer ranges.

The rest of the loadout is focused on improving recoil control. The AC-Titanium Anchor, Carver Foregrip, and Stippled Grip combine to make the EX1 have no recoil whatsoever. This does come at a tradeoff of movement, though, so players will want to equip a strong secondary weapon on their loadout as well.
