Earlier this month, the Path of the Ronin event fully opened up, allowing players to complete every single challenge that’s available. If players managed to do that, they were then rewarded with the Crossbow, which can be used in both Call of Duty: Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2. The Crossbow is making its return, as it was also a post-launch weapon in the original Warzone and Modern Warfare 2019. However, in Warzone 2 and MW2, players can create an entirely different loadout for the Crossbow.

While this loadout won’t make the Crossbow a meta weapon, it will allow players to deal extra damage and be more mobile with it. Of course, if players truly want to use the Crossbow to its fullest extent, they will not want to challenge any long-range weapons and will need to consistently hit headshots to eliminate opponents quickly.

To see the full loadout for the Crossbow in Warzone 2, keep reading below.

Best Crossbow loadout in Warzone 2

  • Arms: SO Momenti
  • Optic: Slimline Pro
  • Laser: VLK LZR 7mW
  • Underbarrel: FTAC Ripper 56
  • Wire: 28-Stand Cable

There are a few attachments that players will instantly recognize with this Crossbow loadout in Warzone 2. The Slimline Pro is one of the best basic red dot sights in the game while the VLK LZR 7mW laser drastically improves both aim down sights speed and sprint-to-fire time. Finally, the FTAC Ripper 56 is known for greatly reducing recoil.

The other two attachments, the SO Momenti and the 28-Stand Cable, are meant to increase bullet, or arrow, velocity. The SO Momenti also improves damage range and accuracy, giving players some help at medium and long ranges. This loadout helps the Crossbow out in every viable area, making it stronger at any range in Warzone 2. Players should still manage their expectations with the weapon, though. Stealth is usually the best option with the Crossbow, as it allows players to get off the first shot and surprise enemies.
