The light machine gun meta in Call of Duty: Warzone Season 5 is currently serving as the overall meta for the entire game. The UGM-8 from Vanguard has completely taken over as the game’s best weapon, leading any other long-range option. However, given how strong the UGM-8 has become, players have begun to wonder if there’s another LMG worth using in Season 5. While some experts will point to the MG 82, we believe players should check out the Bren and its best loadout in Warzone.

Once upon a time, the Bren was arguably the strongest gun in the game. However, a series of nerfs to it and its primary attachments set it back quite a ways. In Season 5, though, the Bren is a solid option that players can use as an alternative to the dominant UGM-8.

To see the full loadout for the Bren in Warzone Season 5, keep reading below.

Best Bren loadout in Warzone

  • Muzzle: MX Silencer
  • Barrel: Queen’s 705mm Royal
  • Optic: SVT-40 PU Scope 3-6x
  • Stock: Hockenson SP2B
  • Underbarrel: M1941 Hand Stop
  • Magazine: .303 British 100 Round Mags
  • Ammo Type: Lengthened
  • Rear Grip: Hatched Grip
  • Perk: Tight Grip
  • Perk 2: Fully Loaded

This loadout further increases the Bren’s strongest attributes. Its recoil control, bullet velocity, damage range, and magazine size are all boosted. The biggest attachment on this loadout is the Queen’s 705mm Royal barrel, which mostly eliminates damage range drop-off. However, this attachment isn’t as strong as it once was in Warzone, so players will still see some drop-off at longer ranges. Luckily, players can use attachments such as the Hockenson SP2B stock, Hatched and Tight Grip, and the M1941 Hand Stop to reduce recoil and ensure they can hit their shots.

Whether players are on Caldera or Rebirth Island/Fortune’s Keep, this Bren loadout will serve them well in Season 5 of Warzone.
