Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone received the Season 5 Reloaded update in August, introducing a slate of new content to both games. Headlining that content were three fresh weapons that can be unlocked via the Season 5 Battle Pass. Among the guns you can unlock is a pistol, named the 9mm Daemon. This is a semi-automatic pistol that has a high fire rate and solid damage output.
However, to get the most out of the 9mm Daemon in MW2, you will need to equip its strongest loadout.
Compared to other pistols in MW2, the 9mm Daemon doesn’t differentiate itself by any substantial margins. In my initial playtime with the weapon, I found that it’s a serviceable secondary that doesn’t have any outstanding qualities. It’s simply a balanced pistol that can deal some damage up close and begins to fall off at mid-range.
If you want to try out the 9mm Daemon for yourself, then equipping the best available attachments for multiplayer is the best way to start.
Best 9mm Daemon loadout in MW2
- Muzzle: SA GF90 Flash Hider
- Laser: FJX DIOD-70
- Trigger Action: Rapid 30 Trigger
- Magazine: 26 Round Mag
- Rear Grip: Daemon Hand
The key to this loadout is the Rapid 30 Trigger. This allows you to fire the Daemon much faster, which can drastically increase your time-to-kill if you can manage to hit your shots. Luckily, with the SA GF90 Flash Hider and the FJX DIOD-70 muzzle and barrel, your accuracy is improved quite substantially.
The Daemon Hand rear grip improves your overall mobility while the 26 Round Mag ensures that you don’t have to reload nearly as often as you otherwise would have. This makes it perfect for quickly swapping to and from when your primary weapon won’t cut it.

I highly recommend only using this 9mm Daemon loadout in close range, though, as it becomes extremely difficult to hit shots on enemies who are farther away.
As a final note, you can use the 9mm Daemon in the new Modern Warfare 3 and use this same loadout to great effect. However, you will need to change most of the rest of the class, as the perks have been entirely changed in the new multiplayer title. You can still use the same lethal or tactical as well as a similar secondary weapon. Of course, I suggest using some of the new content first so you can experience some of the fresh items in MW3.
