The sniper rifle class is beginning to make a comeback in Call of Duty: Warzone. While Season 5 will be the last for this current iteration of Warzone, Raven Software is trying to ensure the snipers receive enough attention before Warzone 2 releases. After the nerfs to the class in Season 3, the developers have been improving the overall class and individual snipers steadily throughout most weapon balancing updates. One sniper has come out of these buffs to claim the top spot among the sniper pick rates in Season 5. That weapon is the 3-Line Rifle, which has a devastating loadout in Warzone.

We called the 3-Line Rifle the best sniper to use in Warzone Season 5, and that wasn’t without reason. While there are stronger options at long-range, there’s not a better overall sniper. The 3-Line Rifle is capable of decimating enemies up close with its quick ADS speed and great base damage. Players will still need an upper body shot to at least attempt a one-shot kill, but the 3-Line has the accuracy and bullet velocity to ensure players have a good shot at that. Of course, players will need to use a select set of attachments to maximize the 3-Line Rifle’s potential.

Best 3-Line Rifle loadout in Warzone

  • Muzzle: Mercury Silencer
  • Barrel: Empress 514mm F01
  • Optic: N/A

This loadout does its best to increase the 3-Line Rifle’s damage range to give it the best possible chance at killing quickly. Aside from that, mobility is also greatly improved with this loadout. This will allow players to aim in on enemies much faster, which could potentially make the difference in winning and losing a gunfight.
