The sniper rifle class has been decimated in Call of Duty: Warzone.

The changes to snipers with the Season 3 update in Warzone have made them almost unusable in a competitive environment. Raven Software made it nearly impossible for players to one-shot kill with a sniper headshot. Long gone are the days of players running around with the Kar98k or Swiss K31 and being able to keep up with other meta weapons.

Instead, what we have in Season 4 is one sniper that features the best stats across the board for the class. That sniper is the 3-Line Rifle from Vanguard, which currently has the best sniper loadout in Warzone.

The 3-Line Rifle hasn’t been among the best snipers in Warzone since Vanguard was integrated in late 2021. However, nerfs to other snipers and the class in general have allowed the 3-Line to enter the spotlight. While it won’t change the meta, the 3-Line does give players the ability to use a sniper and not be at a huge disadvantage. Of course, in order to maximize success with the sniper, players will need to use the right set of attachments for it.

The biggest stat that the 3-Line Rifle currently holds over other snipers is its ADS speed. The sniper received a buff to this stat and, since then, it’s best a lick above other snipers in the game. Although players will still have a hard time one-shot killing enemies with a headshot, at least they’ll be able to aim in quickly.

  • Muzzle: Mercury Silencer
  • Barrel: Empress 514mm F01
  • Optic: N/A
  • Stock: ZAC Custom MZ
  • Underbarrel: Mark IV Skeletal
  • Magazine: .30-06 30 Round Mags
  • Ammunition: Lengthened
  • Rear Grip: Leather Grip
  • Perk 1: Silent Focus
  • Perk 2: Deep Breath

This loadout does its best to increase the 3-Line Rifle’s damage range to give it the best possible chance at killing quickly. Aside from that, mobility is also greatly improved with this loadout. This will allow players to aim in on enemies much faster, which could potentially make the difference in winning and losing a gunfight.
