Yesterday, the Cincinnati Bengals advanced to the Super Bowl for the first time since 1988. They were perhaps spurred by a cursed prediction from streamer Tim “TimTheTatman” John Betar but, nonetheless, the Bengals are playing the LA Rams in Super Bowl 56 on Feb. 13. This will be many Bengals players’ first appearance in the game, including wide receiver Tee Higgins. After he helped Cincinnati win the AFC Championship game against Kansas City, it was revealed that Higgins let one couple experience the game in person by purchasing their plane tickets.

Tee Higgins gifts the best anniversary present to one couple

In an original story from Fox19, Higgins bought the couple’s plane tickets after he met one of them through playing Call of Duty. Higgins has a Discord server where he chats and plays with fans. Prior to the game, the receiver was giving out tickets to the game in his Discord channel. However, one fan, Max Hulett, told Higgins he already had tickets. So Higgins took it a step further and bought Hulett and his girlfriend, Shelby Sterling, plane tickets to Kansas City, Missouri.

Hulett began playing Call of Duty with Higgins a few months ago. Fox19 anchor Tricia Macke spoke with them at a bar in Kansas City to talk about their experience.

“We are here for our nine-year anniversary trip and thank you so much Tee Higgins. He found out it was our anniversary and he upgraded us, so we could fly out here, and is flying us back,” Hulett said. “He found out I already had tickets so he said ‘here I’ll hook you up, I’ll fly you out’.”

The couple looked to be having a terrific time, as their Bengals team defeated the Kansas City Chiefs in miraculous fashion to advance to Super Bowl 56. This doesn’t appear to be out of the ordinary for Higgins, as Hulett said that the receiver often does giveaways through his Discord.

Hulett told viewers that fans should join the Discord server for a chance to talk with Higgins and maybe even win some Bengals merchandise or tickets to a game. Perhaps one lucky fan will also get to experience Super Bowl 56 in LA because of Higgins’ generosity.
