The Pacific Champion Series (PCS) is set to start on Feb. 8, and teams are starting to get their initial players signed for the upcoming season. Talon Esports announced earlier this week the signing of former Flash Wolves top laner Su “Hanabi” Chia-Hsiang as the first member of the roster. Since then, Talon Esports has revealed two more players for their roster, and they’re teasing the next reveal for tomorrow.

Candy is the new mid laner for the 2020 season

Kim “Candy” Seung-ju has a long history in competitive League of Legends. Originally from South Korea, Candy competed in various teams in Champions Korea. Champions Korea is similar to other regions’ academy leagues, where teams can earn the chance to promote to the main professional leagues or be scouted to compete on other rosters.

Candy was one of the leading forces on the CJ Entus rosters when the organization attempted to re-qualify for the LCK. However, through three unsuccessful attempts between 2015 and 2017, he eventually left South Korea to compete in the LMS region. In his time competing in the LMS, he played solely under the G-Rex organization, starting in Nov. 2017. The team managed to reach the Taiwan regional finals in 2018, and they made an appearance in the 2018 World Championship.

Introducing Talon Esports’ new support player

Ling “Kaiwing” Kai Wing is the new support player for Talon. The Hong Kong native has spent most of his career competing under the Hong Kong Attitude (HKA) roster. In his career, Kaiwing managed to compete on the League of Legends Worlds stage twice, in 2017 and 2019. In addition to this, the HKA roster was among the top teams in the League of Legends Master Series (LMS) throughout the years.
