#StreamersWithUkraine Marathon, a new fundraising initiative, aims to raise $1 million for Ukrainian humanitarian needs and raise awareness of the ongoing war. The event, put together by Organization.GG alongside their partners WePlay Holding and Reface, will bring streamers and esports pros together for the common cause of drumming up donations.
The #StreamersWithUkraine Marathon begins Friday and will last for 30 days. During that time, all influencers, streamers and companies, regardless of size, can take part in the fundraising efforts. All donations will go to Razom and Nova Ukraine, two US-registered 501(c)(3) nonprofits helping Ukrainians. Organization.GG will take zero commission on the donations.

Viewers of the #StreamersWithUkraine Marathon will get the chance to play against pros and streamers like Danil “Dendi” Ishutin and Jarosław “pashaBiceps” Jarząbkowski in games like Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Call of Duty or Apex Legends. Other esports content creators, like Jacob “Pimp” Winneche and Michael “THINND” McMahon, have already committed to participating. Pro players from esports organizations like Wisla Krakow, Ago and more will also be joining in on the initiative.
“This is personal for us, since our team is Ukrainian and our country is fighting for freedom and peace in Europe,” Dima Okhrimchuk, CEO at Organization.GG, said in a statement.
Organization.GG is a platform that helps the discovery and monetization of streamers and their content. Reface is an AI/machine learning startup that began as a face swapping app. WePlay Holding is a tournament organizer in Counter-Strike and Dota. All three companies have primarily Ukrainian teams behind them.
“Esports cannot stand aside from what is happening in Ukraine today — war, the deaths of innocent people, thousands in need of help,” Eugene Luchianenco, head of esports at WePlay Holding, said. “#StreamersWithUkraine is an example of how leading representatives of esports can influence the situation and support those who require this help.”
