Milo “Pridestalkr” Wehnes has reach a verbal agreement to play for the League Championship Series’ Golden Guardians for the 2022 season, sources told Upcomer on Sunday. SK Gaming also expressed some interest in bringing him to the League of Legends European Championship in case their reported agreement with Erberk “Gilius” Demir.

The 22-year-old jungler most recently played for MOUZ in the Prime League for the 2021 season after taking a year off from competing in 2020. With MOUZ, Pridestalkr finished first in the PRM Pro Division 2021 Spring before only reaching second place during the playoffs and third-fourth place in the European Masters 2021 Spring Main Event.

MOUZ then finished second and third during the summer regular season and playoffs, respectively, qualifying them for European Masters Summer Main Event. Once there, they were eliminated during the group stage after facing off against rivals such as Karmine Corp and Vodafone Giants.

Before playing for MOUZ and taking a year off, Pridestalkr played for top European teams including Team Roccat in 2017 and Schalke 04 the season after.

Golden Guardians, meanwhile, struggled during the 2021 season, closing out the spring far away from the playoffs with a 10th place finish. They did squeeze into the LCS 2021 Championship but lost 0-3 in the losers bracket during the first round against Cloud9. Pridestalkr would replace Ethan “Iconic” Wilkinson after the jungler’s first season in the LCS.

League of Legends free agency officially opens at 7 p.m. ET on Nov. 15.
