Bot laner Liyu “Cody Sun” Sun and mid laner Kim “RangJun” Sang-joon have reached a verbal agreement with newly promoted LFL Team Elyandra Esport in the Ligue Française de League of Legends for the 2022 season, sources told Upcomer on Friday.

Cody Sun previously played for TSM Academy and finished seventh place with the team in NA Academy Summer 2021. The Canadian player has also played for a number of years in the LCS and even made a Worlds appearance with Immortals in 2016.

From Korea, mid laner RangJun will be on the roster. The 18-year old player was a substitute for Heo “ShowMaker” Su at DGW KIA. He finished 9th-16th place in both the September and October LCK Academy Series’ with his team.

Elyandra qualified to the LFL through the LFL 2021 Promotion, by beating IZI Dream with a score of 3-1. The team will have to complete its roster with at least two players that hold French residency.
