The seedings and first match-ups of the Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS) Fall Split Major have been revealed. The first international matches are just weeks away, starting early December.
With a two-year break, seeding for the first international event back must have been awkward to say the least. Psyonix gave it a shot anyway and set the fans up with some stellar match-ups in the first round.

RLCS Fall Major match-ups
It is no surprise that NRG, as the most recent world champion and North America’s No.1 seed, are top seed going in the the RLCS Fall Major. Next are Team Endpoint, Europe’s current No. 1 seed. But, after that, it becomes more of a debate. Whether fans agree with the seeding or not, Psyonix made sure there are several spicy match-ups in the first Swiss round of the RLCS Fall Major.
The first most notable RLCS Fall Major match-up is G2 Esports versus Sandrock Gaming. The latter will make their RLCS debut as the talented representatives of the Middle East, while G2 Esports had a strong start to the North American season. SRG will probably struggle to take the win, but they get to debut on the international stage against an absolute titan.
Secondly, FaZe Clan versus Team Vitality is likely to be a banger. Due to Vitality’s poor start of the EU season, their No. 12 seeding sets them up against one of the more dangerous teams from North America. But, last season’s European RLCS champions have been steadily improving, so the clash between FaZe and Vitality is bound to cause some fireworks in the early stages of the Fall Major.
The third match-up worth mentioning is Team BDS versus Complexity. Team BDS surprisingly reigned over Europe as the region’s debutants last season, but were not allowed to showcase their skill at a LAN event. Meanwhile, Complexity just moved from South America to North America and pushed out the last season’s runner up, SpaceStation Gaming. The battle between debutants looks like it may be one for the history books.
The RLCS Fall Major runs from Dec. 8-12. It’s been two years, but finally, LAN is back.
