American Twitch streamer and content creator Byron “Reckful” Bernstein has passed away at 31 years old, according to sources. Reckful was a former professional World of Warcraft (WoW) player, finishing rank 1 six seasons in a row. Furthermore, he’s known as the first person to reach the 3000 rating and won the 2010 Major League Gaming WoW tournament. After a lucrative career, the WoW player turned into one of the most popular Twitch streamers.

Early on July 2, Reckful posted worrisome tweets. In the early morning hours, he posted a series of pictures featuring his ex-girlfriend, in which he proposed to marry her, and pleaded for his community to not pressure her. An hour later, he tweeted, “I feel bad for anyone who has to deal with my insanity.” Next, he stated, “please just known in these situations the insane person does not feel in control of their actions.”

Shortly after, independent journalist Rod “Slasher” Breslau announced Reckful’s passing on Twitter. He says Reckful’s ex-girlfriend and roommate have also confirmed the information. Currently, there has been no additional information surrounding his death.
