The leaks have begun in Riot Games’ Valorant, as dataminers have started to dig into the PC files of the game. So far, information regarding cosmetics in Valorant has leaked more than anything. There have been details on the Battle Pass as well as the weapon skin bundles we saw in the early-access gameplay. However, today’s leak is directly related to gameplay, as it deals with a new Agent, Raze, and her abilities.

A look at Raze and her supposed abilities in Valorant

At the time of writing, there are nine confirmed Agents in Valorant. They are Sage, Brimstone, Sova, Breach, Jett, Phoenix, Viper, Omen, and Cypher. Breach is the latest addition to this list, with his existence being introduced from the early-access gameplay we saw last week. This is a solid lineup of characters that Riot Games has designed. Each Agent is unique in their own way and possesses abilities to help both the team and player. As expected though, it seems Riot isn’t done adding to the list yet.

According to known dataminers @ValoranTory and @FireMonkey__, who come from the Fortnite community, Raze is a female character specializing in explosives. Below you can see a screenshot of her character model and description of her abilities.

From the looks of it, this is how Raze’s abilities will be spread out:

  • Basic Ability – Blast Pack
  • Basic Ability- Cluster Grenade
  • Signature Ability – Boom Bot
  • Ultimate Ability – Showstopper

Each ability deals with some kind of explosive and seem fairly powerful on its own. Showstopper sounds especially devastating if used on an enemy team who’s trying to plant the Spike. There’s no word on when Raze will come to Valorant, but it’s a possibility we could see her at launch. The closed beta seems unlikely given it’s only one day away.
