For fans who may be unaware, Rainbow Six Siege is about to take center stage in the world of esports. Ubisoft announced the Six Major Paris event months ago with a schedule of the event that begins on August 13.

This is the first-ever event of its kind, and Ubisoft has plans to continue the event annually across the globe. The first Six Major event will take place at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. This competition is being touted as the largest Rainbow Six esports competition in Europe to date. The total prize pool awaiting competitors is $350,000. While the first three days of the competition will not be accessible for public consumption, the crowds will be welcome to cheer on contestants starting with the quarter-finals on August 17. All matches, including those not open to the public, will be streamed on Ubisoft’s official channels.

For those intending on following the action this year, the Six Major Paris schedule is as follows:

• August 13-15: Group Stage (closed to the public)
