With the Overwatch League having their first ever All-Star Game just two weeks away, Blizzard has announced the custom skill matches for both days of competition. They have also shown off two limited-time skins that will release during the event.

In case you missed it, the lineups for the Pacific Division consists of LA Gladiators’ Baek “Fissure” Chan-Hyung, as well as Shanghai Dragon’s Kim “Geguri” Seyeon. Also, LA Valiant’s Scott “Custa” Kennedy and recently retired Dallas Fuel star Brandon “Seagull” Larned will join Seoul Dynasty’s Ryu “ryujehong” Je-Hong and Kim “Fleta” Byung-Sun. On the Atlantic Division squad, the team has plenty of New York Excelsior members. MVP Jjonak, DPS Saebyeolbye and flex DPS Pine all are apart of Team Atlantic. MVP candidate Carpe, as well as Gesture from the Season One winning London Spitfire will join the starting lineup.

There are also a plethora of reserve players for each side, all of which are shown on the official Overwatch League website. Now, let’s take a look at the festivities on Saturday, August 25. Note that all players on each roster much compete, and there will be no substitutions within each game.

Custom Games Galore!

The Atlantic and Pacific All-Star will kick off the inaugural Overwatch League All-Star Game by playing in a three-versus-three, best-of-three Lúcioball series. The competitors will play in the new Lúcioball Busan Arena, where each match will last five minutes. If there is a tie at the end of time, then the match enters sudden death.

Next, the teams will face off in a six-versus-six Mystery Heroes game using standard competitive settings in a best-of-three series. The maps they will compete on will be Ilios, Lijiang Tower, and Nepal. The game will assign each player a random hero at the start of the match. Upon each death, the player will be given a new hero to play.

Finally, the last custom game the Overwatch League All-Stars will play will be a one-on-one Widowmaker tournament. This may be the most exciting event yet, with players such as the London Spitfire’s Profit, and League MVP candidate Carpe in the mix. Match winners will be decided by the first player to reach five eliminations. Only headshots will count, with Blizzard disabling Widowmaker’s automatic fire mode. Also, after 30 seconds, player locations will be visible to both players. As for the tournament, four players from each team will compete until there’s one representative from each side. Afterwards, those two players will face off for the Widowmaker crown.

All-Star Skins! For A Limited Time Only!

Additionally, Blizzard will be dropping two new exclusive skins to commemorate the All-Star Game. Tracer will be representing the 2018 Atlantic All-Stars, while Genji will represent the 2018 Pacific All-Stars. Both skins are legendary, and will be available for a limited time from August 17–27. Each skin is redeemable for 300 Overwatch League Tokens.
