OverActive Media and Red Bull have partnered for a gaming brand identity overhaul. The partnership also includes a new Red Bull Gaming Studio, which will help with OverActive Media’s content creation and beyond.

OverActive Media is the esports organization behind teams like the Toronto Defiant and Toronto Ultra. By working alongside Red Bull, the organization will continue to create fan opportunities that are at the intersection of sports, gaming and music. Additionally, support and custom content for Red Bull’s gaming events will be on the table.

“This is such an important moment for our organization,” Alyson Walker, Chief Commercial Officer at OverActive Media, said. “We are so thrilled to be welcoming a partner like Red Bull to our OverActive Media roster.”

Canadian gaming and esports community

Red Bull boasts a reputation of creating compelling content, Walker stated. This venture will help provide a premium experience for the Canadian gaming community.

“Our aspiration was to bring the OverActive brand to life,” Mike Armstrong, Vice President of marketing at OverActive, said. “Introducing ourselves as a standout brand that encourages positivity and inclusivity, and is overactive in our pursuit to always improve the fan experience…. We are very proud of this work; developed in-house by our passionate and talented team.”

The Red Bull Gaming Studio will host various gaming events. These include tournaments, artist performances and speaker sessions. In addition, the space will have an emphasis on local fans of the Overwatch League and Call of Duty League. Additionally, the Red Bull Gaming Studio will be the home of the Toronto Defiant and Toronto Ultra games.

The OverActive Media esports headquarters is located in Toronto’s Liberty Village. The organization’s rebrand represents its vision of growing and strengthening the esports industry. Finally, new branding will be integrated at the organization’s Toronto headquarters, as well as on its website and social media assets.
