Although MiBR ranked higher than Ninjas in Pyjamas, according to Siege.GG, NIP has had a strong tournament run. Going into the matchup, the Ninjas were the favorite, and it showed.

On the first map, Consulate, the match was close. Rounds came down to the wire, but it was always MiBR that came away with the round wins. Map 1 went to the Brazilians, but then NIP turned up the heat. Each NIP member stepped up on Map 2, especially João “Kamikaze” Gomes, who had multiple triple kill rounds to help secure his team wins. On Clubhouse, Map 3, the two teams each had streaks of rounds due to individual plays by Gabriel “Pino” Fernandes of NIP or Felipe “FelipoX” De Lucia or MiBR. Down 1-5, MiBR strung together four rounds and even forced overtime after being down for most of the match. But, in the last round, NIP overpowered MiBR to win the series 2-1 and complete the reverse sweep.
