After an exciting summer season, the long-awaited NA LCS Summer All-Pro teams have been announced. There were a few surprises, but the choices would be pretty straightforward. It is time to congratulate and celebrate the best players North America has to offer! Here is your NA LCS Summer All-Pro First Team!

NA LCS All-Pro First Team

Top Lane: Chan-ho “Ssumday” Kim, 100 Thieves (125 Points)

This choice was a no-brainer for the top lane. Ssumday has been one of the best players in the NA LCS and is even a Most Valuable Player candidate for the split. His contributions to 100 Thieves have been invaluable so far to their success as a team.  Also, his flexibility and champion pool has been a huge boon during such a tumultuous meta. He has given fans multiple exhilarating moments and would carry 100 Thieves multiple times over the course of the summer.

Jungle: Jake “Xmithie” Puchero, Team Liquid (94 Points)

The steady Xmithie has been a source of reliability for Team Liquid throughout the year. His veteran presence and great decision making have been something that the other players have grown to lean on in many of their games. The only player that would consider for this spot would be Joshua “Dardoch” Hartnett, but because of Team Liquid’s consistent success, it does make sense that Xmithie would take the award this time around.

Mid Lane: Nicolaj “Jensen” Jensen, Cloud9 (102 Points)

The superstar mid laner was an essential part of Cloud9’s rise to the top of the NA LCS. When he was out of the lineup, the team would suffer loss after loss. Now, Jensen has always been an integral part of how Cloud9 plays their game. However, in a meta where mid lane carries are able to take over the game, Jensen has become even more important to Cloud9’s success. His role in carrying some games for his team has earned him the title of All-Pro.

ADC: Yiliang “Doublelift” Peng, Team Liquid (134 points)

Many people are calling Doublelift the unanimous Most Valuable Player for the NA LCS Summer Split. So, it only makes sense that he would also be given a spot on the All-Pro team as well. He leads the pack with the most votes for the ADC position and has the most points of any player in the league. His contribution to Team Liquid is nothing short of essential. He might have played some of his best League of Legends this year. He would single-handedly carry Team Liquid through a few rough patches and has been the biggest threat on the team every night.

Support: Zaqueri “aphromoo” Black, 100 Thieves (105 Points)

Aphromoo is the captain of the 100 Thieves, and he has led them to a top position for the playoffs. Without his veteran leadership skills, I’m not sure if 100 Thieves would be in the same position they are in now. I doubt Cody Sun would be playing any better without Aphromoo, so it really is up to him and Ssumday to help carry this team to the promise land come the postseason.

Any arguments?

There are only two possible arguments for the All-Pro First Team. The first argument is one we’ve mentioned already, with Dardoch on Echo Fox. He has been the X-factor for that team, and although TSM would eliminate them from contention, it doesn’t negate the work he has done this split. In the bottom lane, one could argue Zeyzal could be on the First Team. For a rookie support, he has been playing quite well at the end of the split. The support candidates have a very shallow pool though, so it would make sense why people would nominate Aphromoo for the award.
