The MP40 is without a doubt the best weapon in the early days of Call of Duty: Vanguard multiplayer. Though it’s still a submachine gun, it can outgun assault rifles across the map. Not even the mighty STG44 can stand up to it in most situations. With such a powerful weapon, it should be no surprise that the MP40 has a dominant loadout in Vanguard.

There are no glaring weaknesses with the MP40 but that doesn’t mean fans can’t improve its stats with attachments. The MP40 already has terrific damage range, recoil control and fire rate but all of these areas are increased with its recommended Vanguard loadout.

Best MP40 loadout in Vanguard

The real area that needs to be addressed with the MP40 is its long-range ability. It already possesses some of the best close-range stats in Vanguard, meaning all players need to worry about is figuring out how to dominate beyond 25 meters. Luckily, players can easily turn the MP40 into a mini-rifle with the right set of attachments in Vanguard.

  • Muzzle: F8 Stabilizer
  • Barrel: Krausnick 317MM 04B
  • Optic: Slate Reflector
  • Stock: VDD 34M
  • Underbarrel: M1941 Handstop
  • Magazine: 9MM Para 24 Round Fast Mag
  • Ammo Type: Lengthened
  • Rear Grip: Granular Grip
  • Proficiency: Vital
  • Kit: Quick

The loadout begins with the F8 Stabilizer and Krausnick 317MM 04B barrel to give the MP40 extra damage range and recoil control. This is followed up by the M1941 Handstop and Lengthened Ammo Type to give the SMG extra recoil control and bullet velocity, respectively.

Other attachments on the loadout include the VDD 34M Stock to offer additional ADS speed and the Granular Grip to improve flinch resistance. There’s also the 9M Para 24 Round Fast Mag to give players some extra reload speed. Finally, the Vital Proficiency allows players to deal more damage to the upper body and the Quick Kit provides extra movement speed. These loadout attachments are perfect for the MP40 in Vanguard.
