Call of Duty rostermania has hit the north hard, with Minnesota ROKKR dropping their entire starting roster from 2022 over the weekend.
Minnesota had one player on a team option and three others that were going to be free agents regardless of what ROKKR wanted. Preston “Priestahh” Grenier, Dillon “Attach” Price, and Eli “Standy” Bentz were the players without team options, as they all signed 1+1 contracts last season. Colt “Havok” McLendon, on the other hand, had a team option that wasn’t exercised, making him a free agent. The only player undoubtedly returning to Minnesota in 2023 is Kevin “Fame” Bonanno, who was a substitute in 2022.

The only true surprise from these announcements was the team option for Havok not being exercised. While Havok wasn’t an all-star in 2022, he was a solid SMG player that many thought Minnesota could hang onto entering 2023. However, the organization seemingly has other plans for its roster next season.
The COO for ROKKR, Brett Diamond, stated that fans might not have to say goodbye to some of the team’s former players, however.
“We’re talking with them about the possibility of re-signing as we evaluate all options,” Diamond tweeted over the weekend. “Much love for these players, and whether they return to MN or not, they’ll always have a special place in RØKKR history.”
