Earlier this week, both the STG44 and M1 Garand from Call of Duty: Vanguard were released in Warzone. Activision decided to let players have some play time with both weapons before Vanguard officially launches on Nov. 5. However, players can’t use the weapons like any other weapon in the battle royale. Instead, they need to unlock specific blueprints through the Season 6 battle pass. The pass has been updated with over 20 free tiers of Vanguard content, including two weapon blueprints each for the STG44 and M1 Garand.
While the STG44 might get more publicity thanks to its standing in the community, the M1 Garand shouldn’t be overlooked. It’s a powerful tactical rifle and players can do some serious damage with it provided they’re using the right blueprint. Below, fans can find out which M1 Garand blueprint they should be equipping in Warzone.
Best M1 Garand blueprint in Warzone
The two weapon blueprints for the M1 Garand in Warzone are Heirloom and White Obsidian. Players who have used either blueprint might not feel a difference between the two, as they have similar attachments and stats. However, a slight edge is given to the Heirloom blueprint thanks to its reduced recoil.
Any player that used the M1 Garand in Vanguard knows that it has some recoil issues. With the Heirloom blueprint, it’s hardly noticeable, as players can snap onto enemies roaming the roads of Verdansk or Rebirth Island. The full attachment loadout for the Heirloom M1 Garand is viewable below.
- Muzzle: Mk. 2 Stabilizer
- Barrel: Cooper 25″ Custom
- Optic: SVT-40 PU Scope 3-6x
- Stock: Cooper Adjustable
- Underbarrel: Carver Foregrip
- Magazine: Extended Mags
- Rear Grip: Grooved Reargrip
- Perk 1: Acquisition Perk 1
White Obsidian has a similar attachment set but its recoil is slightly higher than the Heirloom blueprint. However, players might not notice that recoil difference, so players might be more comfortable going with whichever blueprint they prefer aesthetically. We’d take the Heirloom one though.
