Last week, Riot Games gave players a sneak peek at the newest Pulsefire skin, hinting at the latest event coming to League of Legends. New missions, skins, chromas, and a fancy Prestige Pulsefire Lucian are all coming to the game once the 10.10 patch goes live. Let’s take a look at what the next League of Legends event has in store.

Pulsefire 2020 event skins

Available on the Public Beta Environment (PBE), four champions are getting a Pulsefire skin. Ekko, Fiora, Lucian, and Pantheon will all be getting a high-tech upgrade for the event. Every Pulsefire skin comes with new textures and models, VFX, SFX, and a new recall animation. All of these skins have the iconic white and blue detailing of the futuristic Chrono tech and will cost 1350 RP each.

Lucian is also getting a Prestige Pulsefire skin with the event’s release. Swapping out the blue for gold, this prestige skin looks incredible in action. Over on the Riot PBE subreddit, Alex “RiotOrphyre” Rei detailed the prestige skin, showcasing the gold champion. The Prestige Pulsefire Lucian skin will cost 100 Prestige points, or 2000 Pulsefire 2020 tokens.

Each Pulsefire skin will also have chromas available, eight each except for Ekko who only has seven.

Pulsefire 2020 Pass

To help players earn those 2000 tokens, Riot Games will release a new event pass. This pass will include exclusive missions for players to complete and help earn more tokens. While the price for the pass has not yet been revealed, it is expected to follow previous event price points. The basic Pulsefire Pass is expected to cost 1650 RP and 2650 RP for the bundle.

Players will also be able to pick up some fancy event items with their tokens. Event-specific chromas, banners, icons, and more will be available for purchase.

Since the Galaxies 2020 event has ended, the Pulsefire event is just around the corner. With an expected release date of May 13 alongside patch 10.10, players have just about two weeks until the event begins.
