Japanese fashion brand A Bathing Ape (BAPE) is the latest to collaborate with Riot Games’ massively popular multiplayer online battle arena title League of Legends. This news was leaked via an update to the Public Beta Environment server. On top of several other changes, the new Prestige True Damage Yasuo skin was also released, which came outfitted in a golden windbreaker featuring the signature AAPE logo and text.

In early 2020, Riot Games launched several Prestige skins that included True Damage Senna, Coven Zyra, Arcanist Zoe, Mecha Kingdoms Garen, Pulsefire Lucian, and Dark Star Malphite. The North American game developer later revealed in July that these limited skins would be created for several additional champions, with Yasuo, Soraka, Teemo, Ezreal, Sett, Kai’Sa, and Diana added to the list.

The Public Beta Environment release features three main colors on the prestige True Damage Yasuo skin, with mainly gold, black, and different accents of a light blue. The logo for the A Bathing Ape brand can be found on the Unforgiven champion’s headphones, windbreaker, shoulder pouch, and sword. The text “AAPE By A Bathing Ape” is also seen on the front of the character’s clothing.

Riot Games previously partnered with French fashion brand Louis Vuitton for the 2019 League of Legends World Championships, which saw the release of an apparel collection and in-game cosmetic skins. This leaked collaboration could signal something similar happening for this year’s finale event since the BAPE brand is very popular in Asia.

The 2020 World Championships will be held in Shanghai, China between September and October, which makes the timing of the leak very coincidental. No further news has been revealed on other aspects of the collaboration though.
