After several rumors regarding the future of the mousesports CS:GO team, the official lineup has been confirmed. Finn “karrigan” Andersen, Özgür “woxic” Eker, and David “frozen” Čerňanský join mousesports. They will be joined by the returning mousesports legend, Chris “chrisJ” de Jong.

karrigan returns from FaZe Clan

After being benched by FaZe and then replaced by Dauren “AdreN” Kystaubayev, karrigan makes a return to mousesports. The Norwegian was an integral part of mousesports between the years 2010 and 2014, representing the organization at CS 1.6 before making a transition to CS:GO. Karrigan is definitely one of the most experienced players out there. Despite that, he did look shaky towards his last few months at FaZe. Hopefully, we’ll see karrigan in much better shape at his old-new team.

woxic brings AWPing power over from Hellraisers

After an extremely underwhelming performance at the IEM Katowice Major, it was a matter of time before a change occurred within the organization. Replacing Tomáš “oskar” Šťastný, the 20-year-old Turk, will hopefully bring some new flair to the mousesports lineup. The scene is aware of woxic’s capabilities, being frequently the most impactful player alongside Issa “ISSAA” Murad while at Hellraisers.

New young talent arrives: frozen

A new start sometimes requires new blood. This is where the 16-year-old Slovakian talent comes in. Frozen is known for outstanding performances in Faceit Pro League (FPL) and his time at the Czech esports organization, EXtatus. With outstanding entry-fragging capabilities, frozen is expected to deliver, but the mounting pressure may be too much for him in the end. Everyone had doubts when Robin “ropz” Kool joined while being only 17 years old a well, yet he has proved his worth time and time again. Let’s hope that frozen will show much of the same.

The legend returns: chrisJ

After allegedly being dropped from the mousesports lineup, the immensely experienced former in-game leader of mousesports returns to the refurbished lineup after all. The 28-year-old Dutch AWPer has had a whole list of achievements while at mousesports, including triumphs at ESL One: New York and V4 Future Sports Festival in Budapest. After a rocky start to 2019 and an absence at the major in Katowice, chrisJ is surely looking to make up some ground in his new lineup.

With the changes made, here is how the new mousesports lineup looks:

  • Chris “chrisJ” de Jong
  • Robin “ropz” Kool
  • Finn “karrigan” Andersen
  • Özgür “woxic” Eker
  • David “frozen” Čerňanský

Meanwhile, oskar has already announced free agency on Twitter while Miikka “suNny” Kemppi and Martin “STYKO” Styk get benched until further notice.
