There will be no more delays and when Sept. 6 arrives, players will finally get to experience “Skyrim in space.” However, there is a section of the community that needs to know if Starfield will be available on Xbox Game Pass or not.

If you are a Game Pass subscriber, then you likely ask yourself this same question whenever a new game is set to release. This is quite important as well, as you need to know whether or not your subscription will cover the game you want to play. If it doesn’t, then you need to make arrangements to buy the game for yourself. Below, you can find out if Starfield will be arriving on Game Pass or if you need to make a dent in your wallet to play it on Sept. 6.

Will Starfield come to Game Pass?

3 Months Xbox Game Pass for $40 for Prime Day - IGN

Fortunately for all Game Pass users, Starfield will be a day one title on the service. If you’ve been following the Starfield saga for the past couple of years, this should come as no surprise. Starfield is going to be a Microsoft exclusive, meaning it’s only available on Xbox and PC at release. Whenever this happens, the game in question almost always comes to Game Pass at one point or another.

What all this means is that Starfield fans will be able to download the game the moment it becomes available on Sept. 6. Any Game Pass subscription will cover the addition of Starfield, so you don’t need to worry about what level of the service you’re subscribed to.

Starfield releases on Sept. 6 for Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam (Microsoft Windows).
