Since its initial launch on June 1, the Diablo 4 servers have stayed up and performed better than almost any other Blizzard Entertainment game to date. The developers have been able to keep the servers stable, for the most part, allowing players to get into the game without a huge queue and providing them with a solid connection.

Unfortunately, there have been some times when the Diablo 4 servers have gone down In those instances, players will need to know how to check the status of the servers.

If you’re a veteran of Blizzard titles, then you know the servers are always at risk of going down. With Blizzard’s track record and the number of players logging onto Diablo 4 every day, there is a solid chance that the servers will go down in the future.

If you are having problems logging into the game and want to see if the servers are truly down or if there’s possibly something wrong on your end, check out the guide below.

Have the Diablo 4 servers gone down?

First and foremost, you will want to check the official Diablo Twitter account to see if it has posted anything regarding server maintenance or current server problems. Usually, the account is up to date with anything that is going on within the game.

However, sometimes, the account is lagging behind and might not have the most current information posted. In that case, you want to head to either the official Blizzard server page or the Down Detector page for Diablo 4. The former will tell you if there are any server problems with Blizzard as a whole while the Down Detector site collects user reports regarding if a game’s servers are experiencing issues. This way, you can see if you’re alone in having problems logging on or if the entire community is also struggling.

If you’re on PC, you can also check out the Down Detector page for Battle.Net. This page tracks user reports to determine if the servers are functioning correctly. It’s mostly accurate, but if you’re one of the early users to experience troubles, it can sometimes lead you astray. As such, I recommend going through the other avenues first and then coming back to Down Detector.

Beyond that, there are no other real ways to check if Diablo 4 has gone down. If all of these sources are saying the servers are functioning correctly, then you might have a problem with your internet connection. Attempt to restart your router/modem or restart your system to see if the problem persists.
