GAMERS GALAXY: Dota 2 Invitational Series Dubai 2022 is the first large-scale Dota tournament in the Middle East and Africa region. The tournament invites 10 of the best Dota teams in the world to duke out 1.000.000 AED.

What is the format of GAMERS GALAXY: Dota 2 Invitational

The tournament will be played out over four days from March 2, to March 6. All ten teams have been divided into two groups of five. Both groups will play out a round-robin style bracket where every team in a group will play every other team in the same group. At the end of the group stages, the bottom teams from each group are eliminated. The third and fourth place teams will play a best-of-three play-in match and the first and second place teams in each group will automatically be moved to the upper bracket of the double-elimination playoff bracket.

The top six teams will then play it out in a double elimination with a best-of-five grand final. This will be the first full-fledged tournament that will be played on the newest 7.31 patch. It will definitely become a battleground to test out the newest strategies.
