Hearthstone Masters Tour Onyxia’s Lair kicks off on Thursday, featuring a prize pool of $250,000 and the opportunity to use  the Onyxia’s Lair Mini-Set, which has 35 new cards.

The live broadcast for Hearthstone Masters Tour Onyxia’s Lair begins at 6 p.m. ET. On the first day, players will duke it out against each other in a total of four swiss rounds. This will be followed by swiss rounds five to eight on Friday.

On Saturday, Hearthstone Masters Tour Onyxia’s Lair will have a round of 16 and a top eight. These matches will happen before the semifinals and the final.

Players will bring four decks from four unique classes into the fray under the conquest format, according to the Blizzard announcement. Each player will get to ban one deck from their opponent.

The top 32 players of the event who don’t already have an invitation to the next Masters Tour tournament of 2022 will get one. The next event will be Hearthstone Masters Tour Ruins of Alterac.

How to get free Hearthstone card packs

While watching the tournament, fans can earn up to two free Fractured in Alterac Valley card packs.

A viewer must watch two hours of the live broadcast in order to gain their first card pack. To get the second one, one must watch two more hours of live gameplay. The time watched will be cumulative throughout the tournament.

To receive these free Hearthstone card packs, one must connect their Battle.net and YouTube accounts. This can be done by visiting the “Connected Apps” section on YouTube and pressing the “Connect” button located next to Battle.net.
