Like every seasonal update before it, Season 2 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 will feature two free weapons on its Battle Pass. These weapons are sandwiched between dozens of premium content, meaning players need to purchase the Battle Pass if they want to unlock those cosmetics.

However, the weapons themselves will be free for all players. The weapons coming in Season 2 are the ISO Hemlock and the KV Broadside, and we have a full guide today on how to unlock the latter of the two in MW2 and Warzone 2.

Unlock the KV Broadside in MW2 and Warzone 2 Season 2

With the KV Broadside being available on the Battle Pass, all players need to do to unlock it is earn enough Battle Pass Tokens to reach its block of content. As you play MW2 and Warzone 2, you will earn these tokens, which can be used to unlock one tier of content on the Battle Pass. However, with the new version of the pass, you need to unlock blocks of content, which hold the tiers, before you can reach another block.

In the Season 1 Battle Pass, the free weapons required around 25-30 Battle Pass Tokens to reach. This means players need to go through around five or six blocks before they can reach the block that holds the weapon they want.

If players want the KV Broadside over the ISO Hemlock, they should go straight for it on the Battle Pass. Unlock all of the blocks that lead directly to the one that holds the shotgun. This will ensure you unlock the KV Broadside in the quickest manner possible. Of course, you can also purchase Battle Pass Tokens if you don’t want to go through the lengthy process of earning them through playtime.

Season 2 of MW2 and Warzone 2 launches at 1 pm ET on Wednesday, Feb. 15 for all players.
