The pistol weapon class in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is one of the most intriguing in the entirety of multiplayer. Not only does it feature three completely different guns, but all three of them have access to a special Conversion Kit that turns them into a completely different weapon. Two of them, the Renetti and the COR 45, have access to the JAK Ferocity Carbine Conversion Kit, which turns them into a fully automatic pocket-SMG in Modern Warfare 3.

Unfortunately, the game doesn’t do a great job of explaining how to unlock the Conversion Kit. So, in this guide, I’ll help you out and explain how to unlock the JAK Ferocity Carbine Conversion Kit for the Renetti in MW3.

First, I will quickly go over how to unlock the Conversion Kit for the Renetti in MW3. You have to reach max level on the Renetti, which is level 20. Then, once that’s done, you can complete a specific challenge by using the Renetti that unlocks the JAK Ferocity Carbine Conversion Kit. This is a similar process for unlocking other Conversion Kits in MW3, but others require you to complete either a Weekly Challenge or go through the Armory Unlock Challenges system.

The challenge to unlock the JAK Ferocity Carbine Conversion Kit is as follows:

  • Get 30 kills with five attachments equipped

Those kills have to come with the Renetti using five attachments, and once you’ve completed the challenge, the Conversion Kit will become available for you to use. The Conversion Kit takes up one attachment slot on your loadout, so you can still equip four other attachments after equipping it.

You can find other Conversion Kits through the Armory Unlock Challenges menu or by simply viewing different weapons in MW3. You can also find a list of all the current Conversion Kits in multiplayer in my previous guide.
