Accessibility features have become more common in modern games, allowing a wider range of players to enjoy the latest titles on the market. There’s now an accessibility feature that will help people with a deathly fear of spiders enjoy the game.

Arachnophobia is a fear of spiders or any arachnid, and the accessibility mode that is associated with it alters certain enemies in the game to look less like the eight-legged creatures.

However, there are no spider enemies in Jedi Survivor. Some players feared Jedi Survivor would be like Fallen Order, its sequel that featured a ton of spiders. Luckily for those fans, spiders are missing from this title. So, what exactly does Arachnophobia Mode do in Jedi Survivor and how can players enable it?

Turning on Arachnophobia Mode in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor

Essentially, Arachnophobia Mode changes the scorpion creature called the Skriton to look less like an arachnid. The Skriton only appears on Jedha, which players will travel to several times throughout the course of the game. Players will have to fight the Skriton a couple of times, and Arachnophobia Mode changes the Skriton’s appearance to something less intimidating. For reference, the Skriton is the creature that is found crawling underneath the sands of Jedha when your first arrive on the moon.

If you want to enable Arachnophobia Mode in Jedi Survivor, all you have to do is open your Settings menu and select the Accessibility tab. From here, scroll down until you see the Arachnophobia Safe Mode and turn it on or off. You can also change some other options as well, such as how dismemberment works and the overall visual effects in Jedi Survivor.
