From the very beginning of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, you have access to a variety of skills that you can use across three different sections. These sections are Survival, Lightsaber, and Force, and all three sections have different trees that allow you to truly customize how your version of Cal fights and stays alive.

However, due to the multiple skill trees that you have access to, there might come a time during your playthrough when you want to change up your build. Perhaps you want to change your primary stance and you need to put more points into a new version of the lightsaber or you simply want more Force or Life. If you find yourself in this position, your first question will likely be whether or not you can respec in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.

The term “respec” simply means resetting all of your skills and/or abilities in a video game. This process has become popular within the gaming community since players can completely change up their playstyle and stats on the fly. However, in order to take advantage of the respec system, players first need to know how to do it in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.

If you want to respec your skills, all you need to do is go to a Meditation Point and open up your Skills menu. Here, you will see an option in the bottom-left corner of the screen that says “Reset all Skills.” If you press this, a new window will appear that explains the entire respec process.

Essentially, your first time resetting all of your skills is free. However, every time after that will cost you one Skill Point. By resetting all of your skills, you are returning all of your Skill Points to the bank, giving you the chance to spend them all again.

I recommend you only do this if you want to try a new stance for your Lightsaber or if you decide you want to start using the Force more or less. Other than that, the Skills won’t alter your character too drastically to where you need to reset them.
