At the start of Dead Island 2, you will be dirt poor with no money to your name, regardless of which Slayer you choose to start with. This can be somewhat problematic, as you will eventually need to buy certain blueprints, ammunition, and materials from Traders across the different map levels. You can also buy weapons from these Traders, which can save you time in looking for a strong weapon to use.

However, making money in Dead Island 2 is somewhat of an arduous challenge. While you will be able to find small amounts of cash in random buildings and from killing zombies, this doesn’t grow your wallet by much in the grand scheme of things. Luckily, we have some concrete ways to make more money in Hell-A, which you can read about in the guide below.

Making more money in Dead Island 2

First and foremost, as long as you explore the various levels of Dead Island 2, you will never be too short on cash. Of course, it’s your choice to spend your money immediately or save it for something more expensive. If you are exploring the map, killing zombies, and completing side quests, though, your cash supply will be steady.

Unfortunately, this won’t always result in you having the most money possible. If you want to grow your cash supply exponentially, then the only concrete way to do that is to sell weapons in Dead Island 2. If you’re ever low on cash or simply need more to buy a certain item, then we recommend simply going out to a crowded zombie area, killing as many as possible, and picking up all of the weapons they drop.

While you can keep the ones that have a high power or rarity, you can sell all of the rest to Traders in Dead Island 2. This will result in several thousand dollars immediately being added to your wallet. Weapons go for more money the higher rarity they are, but even the common rarity weapons sell for over one thousand dollars.

So there you have it, if you want to make a ton of money, be diligent about picking up and selling weapons in Dead Island 2.
