The Season 2 update in Call of Duty: Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 introduced a fresh Battle Pass with three new weapons available on it. The ISO Hemlock, KV Broadside, and Dual Kodachis can all be unlocked by earning and using Battle Pass Tokens. There is no other way to unlock these weapons in Warzone 2 and MW2, so you simply have to play matches or buy tokens to unlock the guns. However, if players are willing to go to DMZ, they might have a legitimate way of unlocking the ISO Hemlock.

DMZ received some significant updates with Season 2, but unlike Season 1 and the M13B, there is no exclusive weapon to the mode. Because of that, players initially thought that there was no way to acquire any of the new weapons through DMZ. While that remains technically true, there appears to be a way around that, allowing players to unlock the Battle Pass weapons without even leveling up the pass.

In order for players to take advantage of this trick, they need to have a friend that already has the ISO Hemlock unlocked. Once you find a friend with the Hemlock, join their lobby and hop into a match together. The player with the Hemlock needs to bring it in with them to a DMZ match.

After you’ve both spawned in, the person with the Hemlock can drop it and you can pick it up and add it to your inventory. From here, all you need to do is extract with the ISO Hemlock in DMZ. Find an extraction point, clear it out, and hop into the chopper once it arrives. If you exfil successfully, then you will have the ISO Hemlocked for use in DMZ, MW2, and Warzone 2.

At the start of Season 2, there was a bug that prevented players from extracting with a new Battle Pass weapon. However, according to Infinity Ward, that bug has been patched, which confirms that this trick does, in fact, work. All you need is a friend that has the ISO Hemlock unlocked and to exfil with it in your inventory.
