Some of the best duos in the world will compete at the Fortnite Champion Series Invitational 2022 in Raleigh, North Carolina, in just one month. Competitors will aim to secure the lion’s share of the event’s $1 million prize pool.

Meanwhile, Fortnite fans can earn their own rewards from home. As it turns out, they won’t have to work nearly as hard as the players; all they have to do is watch. Here’s everything viewers need to know about unlocking Fortnite Twitch drops during the FNCS Invitational 2022.

How to get Fortnite Twitch drops

In general, players will have to ensure that their Epic Games and Twitch accounts are linked in order for them to receive Fortnite Twitch drops. Players can do so by heading to their Epic Games account page and clicking Connections on the left-hand menu.

On this page, users need to find the Twitch icon and click the “Connect” button underneath. Then, they can click “Link Account,” which will open a pop-up menu from Twitch where the user should click “Authorize.” After doing so, the two accounts will be linked.

Even if players forget to link their accounts before the FNCS Invitational 2022 begins, it will not be too late to claim the associated Twitch drops. If the user claims their drops on Twitch, the rewards will still be valid as long as the user links their Epic Games account within two weeks.

FNCS Invitational 2022 rewards

The latest Fortnite Twitch drops will be available starting at 2 p.m. ET on November 12. Three brand new cosmetics will become available through Twitch drops during the FNCS Invitational 2022. While Epic Games has not yet revealed the cosmetics, it will announce the rewards through the Fortnite Competitive Instagram and Twitter accounts during the event.

Viewers can obtain their rewards by watching any FNCS Invitational 2022 stream on a channel that supports Twitch drops. The rewards will also be available through off-Twitch broadcasts. These include the Fortnite YouTube channel, watch.fortnite.com and the in-game Legends Landing venue.

Once the FNCS Invitational 2022 ends on November 13, the newest cosmetics will no longer be available through Twitch drops. However, players may still be able to get them at a later date through the Fortnite Item Shop.
