Evolutionary Stones have been a staple of the Pokémon franchise since the very beginning. They offer ways of evolving Pokémon outside of the normal leveling/trading process. However, as their main purpose is to get a Pokémon to evolve, players can expect to go on quite a hunt to acquire them. The developers don’t want players to simply gain access to any of the stones too early or too easily. In this guide, we’ll be going over where players can find Fire Stones in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, which are used to evolve a few different Pokémon in Paldea.

The three Fire Pokémon that can be evolved using a Fire Stone are Eevee, Growlithe, and Capsakid. In other words, these Pokémon cannot evolve with the use of this stone, with the exception of Eevee. Of course, players will still need a stone of some kind to evolve it. If you want a Flareon or to evolve either Growlithe or Capsakid, though, you will need a Fire Stone.

The first and easiest place that you can acquire a Fire Stone in Paldea is through Delibird Presents stores. These stores are primarily located in the major cities of Paldea, including Levinica, Cascafarra, and Mesagoza. You can see where a Delibird Presents store is located by looking at your map and finding the Shopping Bag symbol. The stores also have an image of Delibird on the front of the building.

You will not have access to a Delibird Presents store until after you’ve beaten three Gyms in Scarlet and Violet. Once you have three badges, you can access the stores and find a Fire Stone in them for 3,000 dollars. Other evolutionary stones are also found here as well.

If you don’t want to spend the cash, though, you can find other Fire Stones through item pickups. In the East Province (Area Three), you will find a river running through the region that separates the East and North Provinces. From Levincia, head directly north to the river, but stay on the East Province side of it once you get there. Head to the riverbank at this location and you will see a number of Poké Balls scattered around. Fire Stones are prevalent in the balls, so keep searching until you find one.
