From the start in Elden Ring, your character will be given two types of flasks. These are known as Crimson Tears and Cerulean Tears, which restore HP and FP when used. The two main flasks are easily the most important in the game, as they allow your character to restore the most precious resource available to you and you’re able to upgrade them as you go along. However, there’s another type of flask in Elden Ring, the Flask of Wondrous Physick.

Luckily, you won’t have to leave the region of Limgrave in order to find the flask. You will, however, have to leave the starting region of West Limgrave and venture further east. In East Limgrave, you’re looking for a location called the “Church of Third Marika.” This is located directly east of West Limgrave and is found along the main road of the region.

Although, there is a split in the main road as soon as you enter the region. To find the church, follow the road northeast instead of southeast. This will lead you directly to the Church of Third Marika. The location is found on the map below.

Once at the church, you can pick up a Sacred Tear at the foot of the Marika statue and then search the treasure chest near the Site of Grace to find the Flask of Wondrous Physick.

In order to use the flask, you will need to find different tears across the world. The treasure chest will give you a tear called the Crimson Crystal Tear, which you need to pair with another tear in order to make a new kind of potion. Mixing different tears together results in different effects happening when you drink it.

For example, our character mixed the Crimson Crystal Tear with another to create a flask that restored a partial bit of health but also increased strength for a short duration. The more tears you find, the more opportunities you have to make new effects.
