One of the earlier side quests that you can take on in Hogwarts Legacy comes from a student named Arthur Plummly. Arthur will call out for you in an effort to try and get you to solve one-half of a treasure hunt. This quest is called “Cache in the Castle,” and it actually has a level requirement, so you might not be able to complete it right away. Regardless, Arthur will give you a map that depicts the location of some supposed treasure.
If you are able to complete it, then you will need to know where to go to find the treasure that the map leads to. Below, you can see exactly how to complete Cache in the Castle in Hogwarts Legacy.

For starters, you can find Arthur Plummly first in the Astronomy Wing of Hogwarts. He will be directly outside of the Charms classroom near a large window. After speaking with him, he will give you a treasure map that you view anytime by going to your inventory.
The map depicts the different locations, but you only need to visit the final location on the map to complete the treasure hunt. That location is the painting that’s on the map, which can be found in the Bell Tower Wing of Hogwarts. More specifically, you can find the painting in the North Hall. You can access the painting’s location by visiting the Transfiguration Courtyard and then heading through to the North Hall. Climb a flight of steps, and you will see the painting in front of you.
At the painting, you need to use the Accio spell on the hook that’s at the top of the frame. Doing this will trigger the painting to open and reveal a treasure chest behind a secret door. Loot the chest, and then return to Arthur Plummly. To find Arthur, you can track the Cache in the Castle quest and then use the Charmed Compass to easily get back to him. Once you talk to him again, the quest will be complete.
