When Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was released, the player base had a few gripes with the game. One of the chief complaints was the lack of a fast travel system.
Instead of being able to instantly travel back and forth between set locations, players had to run wherever they want. This got extremely tiring for some and led players to request the developers introduce a fast travel system in the sequel to Fallen Order. Well, in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, the developers have listened to feedback and introduced a fully functioning fast travel system.
However, the fast travel system is not available from the start of a player’s journey in Survivor. Instead, they will need to reach a certain point of the game to take advantage of it. You can read all about how the fast travel system in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor works in the guide below.
The fast travel system in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor
During your first 15 minutes of gameplay in Survivor, you will come across something called a Meditation Point. These are marked by a blue beam in the ground surrounded by a glowing circle. If you approach the circle, you will be given the option to Meditate, which sits Cal down and gives you the chance to rest, change your stance, acquire skills, train, and more.
Players will also be able to use the Meditation Points to fast travel, but only after they reach the second planet, Koboh. Koboh is the planet players visit after they depart the opening level of Coruscant. On Koboh, after reaching your second Meditation Point, a new option will be added to the Meditate screen under the Skills box.
This option is called Fast Travel, and if you click on it, you will be able to instantly travel to any of the previously visited Meditation Points on your current level. You can only fast travel to points you have found and rested at, so make sure to always interact with the Meditation Points you come across.
I didn’t find the fast travel system to be extremely useful early on, but it becomes much more useful as the game goes on.
