Like any good role-playing game, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty gives players the ability to customize their appearance at the start of the game. Players will have access to a character creator before entering the actual game, allowing them to customize how they look visually. However, after you exit the character creator, you will no longer be able to change your appearance in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. At least, that’s what the game might have you believe.

At some point in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, you will gain access to an NPC that allows you to fully change how you look. You will basically be able to re-enter the character creator, allowing for additional customization. If you want to find out exactly when and where you gain the ability to change your appearance in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, keep reading the guide below.

You can only alter your appearance by visiting Zuo Ci in the Hidden Village. Unfortunately, you don’t gain access to the Hidden Village until you are several hours into the game. Make sure your character’s appearance is what you want, as you’ll be looking at your design for at least four to five hours.

Once you are at the Hidden Village, you can speak to Zuo Ci in his house right by where you spawn in. Talk to the NPC, and they will give you a list of dialogue options. One of them is “Character Creation,” which you obviously want to choose. You will now enter the exact same character creator you had access to at the start of Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. Change whatever you like and then exit the creator. You can go back to this location to further change your appearance in the future as well.
