Korok seeds were one of the more popular collectibles in Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and Nintendo has decided to bring them back in Tears of the Kingdom. These green seeds were found all over Hyrule in BotW, as players could find 900 of them in the 2017 hit title. However, players are wondering exactly how many they will be able to find this time around.

The process of finding and using Korok seeds has more or less stayed the same in the sequel. Players can find Korok seeds in a number of different ways and then trade them with the NPC Hestu for upgrades to their inventory with more slots for items.

If you want to go looking for Korok seeds, you will only find them in the sky and surface regions of the game; there are seemingly none to find in the Depths/Chasm. On the starting region of Greay Sky, there appear to be 19 total Korok seeds to find.

But what about the rest of the game? You can see how many Korok seeds are in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom by checking out our guide below.

Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Korok seeds

Unfortunately, no one has been able to discern just how many Korok seeds are in the newest Zelda title as of yet. We know there were 900 in Breath of the Wild, and many fans are expecting the same rough number to be in Tears of the Kingdom. However, there is no official confirmation of the number as of May 13.

We do know there are at least 13 different methods of obtaining Korok seeds, though. Players can catch dandelions, pop balloons, pull a chain with Ultrahand, and participate in tree stump races to collect Korok seeds, among other ways. Once we find out the official number of Korok seeds in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, we will be sure to update this article.
