Heroes of the Storm just dropped a hint on their official Twitter for a possible upcoming reveal.

The tweet revealed an image featuring blue and gold, which are telltale colors of the Alliance. Heroes of the Storm fans are predicting that the next character to join the Nexus may be Anduin Wrynn, who is part of the faction and the current King of Stormwind. He became the king after the death of his father, Varian Wrynn, during the World of Warcraft: Legion expansion.

Earlier this year, a datamining post on a forum and a subsequent tweet by @OverwatchNaeri that followed showed Anduin with a “Neo Stormwind President” skin and its variants. Along with the image, the forum hinted at a skin pack.

If Anduin Wrynn gets revealed as the Nexus’ upcoming hero, then it would also mean the completion of the original Hearthstone hero class character set within the game. The set consists of Garrosh, Thrall, Jaina, Rexxar, Uther, Malfurion, Valeera, Gul’dan, and (of course) Anduin, who represents the Priest class.

Heroes of the Storm fans have noted that it has also been over 100 days since the release of Imperius, the Nexus’ newest hero. Imperius, originally from the Diablo universe, was released on January 8 this year. Prior to that, Heroes of the Storm released its own in-game universe hero named Orphea.

Although there have been updates in terms of reworks, patches, and events since Imperius’ release, there haven’t been any hero releases yet.

Until more gets revealed, Heroes of the Storm players can nonetheless look forward to an upcoming surprise, which was hinted at by live game designer Brett Crawford on a Reddit AMA earlier this month: “… we love how the maps feel and play right now and while we aren’t actively looking at any major reworks to them at this time, we do have some balance changes being finalized and a pretty big surprise coming to one of them in the next couple of months.”
