After several weeks of intense matches, Kyle “McBanterFace” Spigelman, Gabriel “Gaby” Jeanne and Sato “glory” Kenta became the Hearthstone Grandmasters 2021 Season 2 champions.

These victories meant that McBanterFace, Gaby and glory secured a spot in the 2021 Hearthstone World Championship. They will join Huang “KZGXiaobai” Dehui, Nalguidan, posesi and Frenetic at the championship from Dec. 18-19. The final competitor for the event will be determined in Nov.

The next Hearthstone event that fans can look forward to is Masters Tour Silvermoon, which will be viewable on YouTube from Oct. 22-24.

Hearthstone Grandmasters Americas

To reach the top in the American region, McBanterFace duked it out against players such as Mihai “lnguagehackr” Dragalin, Jerome “Monsanto” Faucher and Facundo “Nalguidan” Pruzzo before dueling Muzahidul “muzzy” Islam in the final.  McBanterFace and muzzy traded wins in the first few games, with McBanterFace claiming victory with his Face Hunter and Handlock.

When it came down to the match point, McBanterFace played Garrote Rogue against muzzy’s Shadow Priest. McBanterFace had full board control in the late game and — with the aid of Bleed spells, minions and dagger to the face — he became the regional Hearthstone Grandmasters 2021 Season 2 champion.

Gaby takes the Hearthstone esports scene by storm

Over in Hearthstone Grandmasters Europe, Gaby faced players such as Raphael “BunnyHoppor” Peltzer, David “Frenetic” Neila Quiñones and Jaromír “Jarla” Vyskočil before taking home the gold.

Before reaching this point, the 15-year-old won three out of the seven Hearthstone Grandmasters 2021 Season 2 weekly tournaments. He also stormed the esports scene in ladder during 2020.

When Gaby fought Jarla in the Hearthstone Grandmasters 2021 Season 2 playoffs final, he won 3-1 with the help of Garrote Rogue and Anacondra Druid decks alongside his Quest OTK Demon Hunter combo.

Glory advances to the 2021 World Championship

In the Asia-Pacific region, glory fought his way to the top by defeating Yo Hsin “GivePLZ” Pa, Yashina “Alutemu” Nozomi and Wataru “posesi” Ishibashi before facing Alan “AlanC86” Chiang in the final.

Glory won the first point thanks to his Quest OTK Demon Hunter deck. Although glory’s Handlock lost to Garrote Rogue in the next game, glory persisted with Handlock and claimed a victory over AlanC86’s aggressive Face Hunter deck. When glory played his own Face Hunter deck, he battled Aggro Druid and achieved exact lethal with a Steady Shot to the face.

Until the 2021 Hearthstone World Championship, fans can look forward to Masters Tour Silvermoon, which will be happening over on YouTube from Oct. 22-24.
