The long wait is finally over and Fortnite Chapter 2 – Season 4 is here. In the wee hours of the morning, Epic Games released both trailers for the season, which is named “Nexus War.” As expected, Thor is at the center of the season along with several other Marvel characters. It appears they’re all in Fortnite to stop Galactus, a main villain from the Marvel Comics. The trailers show off new locations, new weapons, and the story as a whole. Let’s see what Epic Games has in store.

The Fortnite Season 4 trailers

As always, there are two different trailers associated with the new season. The first of which is the cinematic trailer, which showcases the leadup to the new iteration. Season 4’s cinematic trailer saw each of the Marvel characters being transported to Fortnite by Thor via the Bifrost.

In the video, we see each character arrive on the map, and Galactus making his way to the island. The season will likely revolve around the villain’s arrival and if the heroes can stop him from tearing apart reality.

Next, we were treated to the Season 4 Battle Pass trailer. This is where Epic Games got a little more creative, as more gameplay elements were shown. Thor was the main narrator throughout the video, and he explains that he’s lost his memory. However, he does know that he called upon the Marvel heroes to stop Galactus.

From the looks of it, Wolverine will be the secret Battle Pass skin for Nexus War. In addition, the rest of the ensemble seems to carry some kind of superpowers within Fortnite. The trailer showcased each character having a different ability that was usable on the island. Also, a new floating military base location was shown off as well as a new weapon.
